Seven times a year American Legion Dalton, GA places flags in front of the Whitfield County Court House.  Each flag has the name of service men and women who were Killed in Action, Prisoners of War, Missing in Action, and veterans still living in the area.

Volunteers are needed to send out notifications regarding the placement of flags, replacing flags, refinishing flag poles, putting names on flags, updating directories and more.
